New member's always welcome!

We are proud to be a club for everyone.

Whether you've been playing for years and are looking for a new club to join, maybe you've recently moved to the area and are looking for a local club, or may, just maybe - youve always fancied a go at Bowls, but just havent got round to it!

Either way, Box is the club for you and we have two membership options to suit everyones needs.

Option 1 is a full playing membership at £82

Option 2 is a social playing membership at £30

'Why do i have to be a member'?  you might ask..

firstly, and in all honesty - we need to cover our costs. Box Bowls Club has a tenancy agreement in place with the owners of the clubhouse and land that the clubhouse and green is built upon. There are maintenance costs, energy costs, repair costs, etc, etc and so membership fees play a key part in enabling us to cover these costs.

Secondly, all members of the club are affiliated with Bowls England and are covered under our public liability insurance cover.

Membership forms can be requested by emailing boxbowlsclub@gmail.com

SAFEGUARDING OVERVIEW

No one in sport and physical activity; whether they are a volunteer, participant, spectator or elite athlete, should ever have to worry about abuse or harassment.

We are committed to safeguarding all those who participate in our sport, ensuring they can do so in a safe, positive and enjoyable environment.  We aim to enable all of our clubs and county associations to provide safe environments for all participants.

Bowls England’s safeguarding function works in collaboration with The Bowls Development Alliance (BDA), The English Indoor Bowling Association (EIBA), English Short Mat Bowling Association (ESMBA), The British Crown Green Bowling Association (BCGBA), English Bowling Federation (EBF) and Disability Bowls England (DBE).
